The Live Market enables suppliers to pick up live demand for product, requested directly from buyers on Rooser.
How to access the Live Market
The Live Market is available between the hours of 0700 - 1200 and 1500 - 1700, Monday to Friday, French time. (These are the peak hours for buyers on Rooser).
To access the Live Market feed during these hours, you must have an active offer listed in the Rooser marketplace.
The page itself can be accessed by clicking “Live Market” in the navigation menu at the top of the page.
Please note : The Live Market opening hours shown on the page when the market is closed differ depending on where you are based. It will always be equivalent to the above times in France. |
Accepting a live demand request
To accept a live demand request, click ‘Accept’ on the right side.
The row will expand, where you can select the Country of Dispatch and Fishing Area, and then 'Confirm'.
This demand request then becomes yours to fulfil, and will move into your “Accepted Orders” section at the top of the page.
New demand requests enter at the top of the Live Demands section, and will expire 15 minutes after submission.
IMPORTANT : Order quantities fulfilled via the Live Market are not subtracted from your active marketplace offers. Please adjust your available quantities on active marketplace offers if needed. |
The order will also appear in your Dispatch page.
NOTE: Please ‘Accept’ the order on your Dispatch page just like you would for a normal marketplace order once the entry is created. It confirms to us and the buyer that the order is being fulfilled.
The Recent Activity view
The “Recent Activity” view (beneath the Live Demand section) shows the latest 30 sales and/or missed opportunities from the Live Market.
For each entry, you will see the price that you would have got had you accepted the demand request yourself.
Entries with a ‘Missed’ tag highlight demand requests that were not picked up. Those with an ‘Accepted’ tag are demand requests that you have selected to fulfil.
Accepted Orders
“Accepted Orders” shows the list of requests you have selected to fulfil that day.
This section gets cleared at the end of each day, ready for the next.
Accepted demand requests are also entered into your Dispatch page, so you can track them just as you would a standard marketplace sale.

Live Market FAQs
Why are the opening hours based on the time in France?
France is currently our largest market for buyers on Rooser. The opening hours reflect the times that buyers are most active on the platform.
Why do demand requests expire after 15 minutes?
This ensures that buyers are able to get a fast response to their request and can make their next decision should their request not be fulfilled.
Do I still need to click ‘Accept’ on an order in the Dispatch page if I already accepted it in the Live Market?
Yes.
The ‘Accept’ button in the Live Market moves the order to your account. The ‘Accept’ button on the Dispatch page confirms to us that the order is being fulfilled.
How does a buyer know when a request is being fulfilled?
Once their request is accepted, they will receive a notification in their Rooser account.
What happens if an order I accept doesn’t appear in my Dispatch page?
Every order you accept should appear in your Dispatch page. If it does not appear after 2 minutes (in case there’s a processing queue) please contact our support team on +33 2 76 86 36 96.
